Taheri Rana Honoured with National Icon Award 2025 at Prime Minister Museum, New Delhi
New Delhi, July 10:
Taheri Rana, a dedicated social worker and administrative officer from the Mumbai Division, was honoured with the prestigious National Icon Award 2025 for his outstanding contributions to society. The grand felicitation ceremony was held at the Prime Minister Museum, New Delhi.
The award was presented jointly by Union Minister of Social Justice Shri Ramdas Athawale, Shiv Sena National Coordinator Respected Shri Abhishek Varma, Uttar Pradesh Minister of Labour and Employment Shri Raghuraj Singh, Former Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Minister Dr. Satish Chandra Dwivedi, and National Co-Incharge of Research & Policy Shri Vinay Choudhary.
Taheri Rana currently serves as a member of the National Crime Investigation Department and the National Human Rights Commission, both in the Mumbai Division. He also holds the position of Ambassador and Permanent Senior Accountant, performing his duties with integrity and commitment.
He holds a B.Sc. in Information Technology and a Ph.D., and maintains strong professional relations with the Mumbai Police Department. His inspirations and mentors in the field of law enforcement include Senior Police Officer Shri Sanjay Kate and Police Inspector Shri Prashant Nerkar from JJ Police Station. He also considers Mr. Chandrashekhar Dhotre, State Director of the National Crime Investigation Department in Mumbai, as his role model.
