13-Year-Old N. Yashaswini Honoured with National Icon Award 2025 at Prime Minister Museum, New Delhi

New Delhi, July 10: In a proud and inspiring moment, N. Yashaswini, a 13-year-old prodigy, was conferred with the prestigious National Icon Award 2025 at a special ceremony held at the Prime Minister Museum, New Delhi.

The award was presented by eminent dignitaries including Shri Ramdas Athawale, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment; Shri Abhishek Varma, National Coordinator of Shiv Sena; Shri Raghuraj Singh, Minister of Labour and Employment, Uttar Pradesh; Dr. Satish Chandra Dwivedi, Former Minister of Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh; and Shri Vinay Choudhary, National Co-Incharge of Research & Policy.

N. Yashaswini, born on 16th February 2012, has become a symbol of patriotism, discipline, and extraordinary talent at a young age. She began practicing Yoga at the age of 7, and in a short span of time, has earned over 15 National and International awards, including 4 World Records.

Her journey in Karate, which she began at the age of 9, has already led her to achieve a Brown Belt. Alongside her physical disciplines, Yashaswini is also an exceptionally gifted artist, having received over 100 awards in various art competitions across the country. Demonstrating both talent and compassion, she sold her paintings to raise ₹5,000, which she generously donated to the National Defence Fund, showcasing her deep patriotic spirit.

Not only an achiever in co-curricular fields, she is also an academic topper, and her list of accolades includes the South Iconic Awards, Mahatma Gandhi Pride Nation Award, Rashtriya Gaurav Award, and the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award.
