Jay Shanker Rai Honored with the Desh Ratna Award 2025

Jay Shanker Rai has been honored with the prestigious Desh Ratna Award 2025 for his outstanding contributions to social service, religious initiatives, and entrepreneurial excellence. This national recognition celebrates his unwavering commitment to the development of Indian society in social, cultural, and economic spheres.

Jay Shanker Rai is a multi-faceted personality—a dedicated political leader, active social worker, and successful entrepreneur. Born in July 1968 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, he earned his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Gorakhpur University and later embarked on a career in business.

Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Ganpati Infravision Pvt. Ltd. and is a designated partner in Shree Ganpati Affordable Homes LLP. Additionally, he is also the director of Jai Build Home and Hill Side Resort and House Pvt. Ltd.

His contributions in the political arena are equally noteworthy. Rai is an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for the past 20 years. For the last 15 years, he has served as a member of the Pratap Gaurav Kendra in Rajasthan. He also holds the position of Chief Patron in the Uttar Pradesh Masters Association and is a senior member of organizations like the Hindu Jagran Manch, Vishwa Hindu Raksha Parishad, Rashtriya Hindu Jagriti Manch, and Hindu Ekta Manch.

Jay Shanker Rai has taken several inspiring initiatives in the fields of religion and social welfare. Responding to public demand, he spearheaded the construction of two Hanuman temples and one Durga Mata temple. In 2022-23, he planted 1,000 trees in the Lakhawali region of Rajasthan to support environmental protection. Last winter, he distributed blankets to around 1,000 underprivileged individuals, offering relief during the harsh weather.

From his residence in Udaipur, he is also contributing to the development of tourism. He is an active member of the Hotel Association and the Tourism Growth and Development Group, playing a key role in promoting regional tourism and economic growth.
