Uttar Pradesh: Gang busted for duping American citizens through fake call center in Noida. Police arrested 84 people.

They used to cheat foreigners while sitting in Noida, police arrested 84 people on the input of US. All the accused employees arrested, who is the real master mind, it is not known yet.

UP: Police has exposed the company which cheated American citizens by opening fake call center in Noida. Police of Kotwali Phase-1 has arrested 84 women and men in this case. The police have recovered 150 computer sets, mobiles and Rs 20 lakh in cash from them.

Cheating with the help of identity card.

According to the police, the accused used to extort money from the call center by making threats in the name of misuse of Social Security Number (SSN). The caller used to describe himself as the Social Security Administration of America. SSN number means social security number. This is the identity card of the American people. Like in India there is an Aadhaar number. Similarly in America there is SSN number.

Money transfer from other country.

With this number, American citizens are identified from bank details, house, vehicle number, mobile to all other types. It is alleged that the employees of the call center used to intimidate the American citizen and ask him to pay. For this, the accused used to ask him to buy Play Store card. After buying this card, they used to scratch it and ask for 16 digit number. After this, by sending this number to the people sitting in China, USA and Dubai, they used to get it cashed and through them the money used to reach India through hawala. Among those arrested are the owners of the two fake call centers and the rest are employees.

The employees were aware of the fraud.

The employees working in the company had full knowledge about the call center. He knew that his boss was making money out of him illegally. Despite this, he was working due to greed. During interrogation, it was found that American citizens were cheated on the pretext of getting their social security numbers fixed by telling them that they were locked.

This is how American citizens were made victims.

When the police searched the company, they found scripts written in English from all the employees. Using this script, he used to take foreign nationals to his Jhansi and cheat them of lakhs of rupees. In the script, if he ever shows fear of social security to someone, then someone's car has been caught for some wrongdoing, it is in your name. By saying this, they were cheating by taking out their private information. On inquiring about the script, he told that through this he used to dupe US citizens and take money from them through cryptocurrency in exchange for gift cards. Everyone in the office used to call US citizens posing as calling agents, who were duped of money through cryptocurrency by showing fear of involvement in criminal activities related to social security number.

The arrest of 84 people created a stir.

US citizens used to threaten to suspend social security numbers and issue arrest warrants if they refused to pay. After this, they used to make recovery by buying gift vouchers from them. The arrest of 84 people by the Phase-1 Kotwali police is the second biggest action taken so far in Noida. Earlier in December 2018, the arrest was made by the Phase-3 Kotwali police.
