Dr. Vinod Damodar Malap to be Honoured at Veer Savarkar National Conclave & Award 2026

The prestigious “Veer Savarkar National Conclave & Award 2026” will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on June 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Organized by the Bharti Yuva Welfare Association (BYWA), the national-level event is supported and appreciated by the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, and the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.
The conclave aims to recognize and honour individuals, professionals, educators, and leaders who have made significant contributions in the fields of education, leadership, innovation, and public welfare.
On this occasion, Dr. Vinod Damodar Malap, Chief Human Resources Officer at Navodaya Education Trust, Raichur, will be honoured for his outstanding contributions to human resource management, academic administration, and institutional leadership.
Dr. Malap brings over 23 years of extensive experience in Human Resources and higher education administration. He has previously served as Deputy Registrar (HR) at NMIMS University, Mumbai, and as In-Charge Joint Director (HR) at SVKM, Mumbai, where he played a key role in strengthening organizational and academic frameworks.
He holds B.Com and M.Com degrees from the University of Mumbai, an MBA in Human Resources from Madurai Kamaraj University, and a Ph.D. in Management from Jaipur National University (2022). He has also successfully completed the prestigious Faculty Development Programme at IIM Ahmedabad in 2021.
A dedicated researcher and mentor, Dr. Malap has authored 10 research papers published in reputed national and international journals. He is also the co-author of the book “Harmonious Leadership: Merging Contemporary Innovation with Diverse Insights,” published in June 2024, which highlights the integration of modern leadership practices with cultural values.
In recognition of his excellence, he has received several prestigious awards, including the Best Staff Award from NMIMS (2022), the Outstanding Achievement Award in Human Resource and Academic Leadership from ICER, Philippines (May 2024), and the esteemed “Prof. Y. K. Bhushan Most Influential Professor” citation at the 13th World Education Congress, Mumbai (July 2024).
