Uttar Pradesh: FIR has been registered under the Protection of Children from Children Act (POCSO Act) against fact checker and Alt News co-founder Mohammad Zubair for sharing a viral video of Muzaffarnagar school.
In a private school in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, at the behest of the teacher, a video of children thrashing a Muslim child studying in their own class went viral on social media.
This incident is of Khubbapur village falling under Mansoorpur police station of Muzaffarnagar.
Police has also registered an FIR against the female teacher.
The same video was also shared by Mohammad Zubair. However, the identity of the child was being revealed in this video.

The complainant has lodged an FIR saying the same.
The name of the complainant is Vishnudutt, who is a resident of Khubbapur.
The video of the incident was later deleted by Zubair. He had tweeted that the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights wanted people to delete the video, so the video was deleted.
Mohammad Zubair was arrested by the Delhi Police last year following an FIR over a tweet, however, Zubair was released after 23 days of imprisonment on the directions of the Supreme Court.
